The Importance & Existence of Angels in Islam: Archangel Angels

Allahʼs believers mean having faith in seen or unseen of Allahʼs word even in angels that canʼt be seen. The visible world is the Earth where humans live and there are also invisible worlds that are created by Allah the Heaven, Hell, and Akhira ( life after death), etc. All are mentioned in the Quran.

The Facts About Angels in Islam:
Angels are created beautifully from light to obey only Allahʼs command no matter the situation (Surah At- Tahrim 66:6). The Quran recited Angels have wings (Surah Fatir 35:1). They carry Allahʼs divine throne. Angels donʼt live like humans they donʼt require nutrition or sleep. They donʼt have a physical body like humans (Surah Al-Isra 17:95). Angels canʼt read Quran but they love to listen to the Quran, so when Muslims read the Quran angels come to listen to it. Itʼs have also been said some Angels ask for forgiveness on behalf of Allahʼs followers when they perform 5 daily prayers. The Angels are the ones who communicate Allahʼs messages to humans. In Islam, The Quran is the key to living a life on Earth. There are trillions of Angels according to Hadith and scholars. Additionally, Angelʼs reality as portrayed in the Quran, every angel was made for various obligations and Muslims likewise accept that there are just 4 of them who are the main ones: Jibrael, Mikael, Israfil, and Azrael.

The Archangel Angels in Islam & Thier Role:
Jibreel (AS): Jibreel is the ranked one angel in Islam. On the night of the power in Arabic itʼs known as Lailat al Qadr, Jibreel came to Prophet Muhammed (SAW) to bring Allahʼs words and message as a form of the holy book The Quran ( Surah Al-Baqarah 2:97). Jibreelʼs main role is to communicate Allahʼs words with humans. Itʼs also said in the Quran Jibreel also appeared on earth when Maryam was supposed to receive Isa Ali Salam in her womb at Godʼs command (Surah Maryam 19:17-19).

Mikael a Merciful Angel: Mikael is the second-highest-ranking angel in Islam. Allah gave him the power to create natural occurrence and his main role his to create storms and rain that provides food and nutrition for humans on Earth. Mikael is mentioned only one time in the Quran. It says to believe in Allahʼs creation on Angel Mikael otherwise they are Allahʼs enemy (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:98). Mikael is also known as a friend to humans because he always asks Allah to forgive humans for their bad deeds and God has relegated Mikael to remunerate upright individuals for the great they do before the afterlife.

Israfil: The third highest-ranked angel in Islam is Israfil. Who is waiting for Allahʼ’s command to blow the trumpet which will end the life of every living thing on Earth and those who are dead will be brought back for the day of Judgment (chapter 69 (Al Haqqah) 36 (Ya-Sin)).

Azrael: Azrael is known as the Angel of death. Itʼs believed by Muslims that when humans die they see Azrael because the dead Angel comes to take thier soul. Azraelʼs main role is to take the dead souls and bring them back to Allah (Surah As-Sajdah 32:11).

On the Day of Judgment, these four archangel angels will join other archangel angels to carry Allahʼs throne and they will assist Allah to punish or reward each soul according to their deeds.

Other Angels in Islam & Thier Role:
Munkar and Nakeer: These two angels come to the death on the grave as soon as deaths family leaves the graveyard. Munkar and Nakeer are responsible for questioning or interviewing the dead soul. They will ask each soul once they are buried in the grave Who is your Lord? What is your religion? Who is your prophet? If they answer truthfully that Allah is their only God, Islam is our religion, and Prophet Muhammed (SAW) is our Prophet then that person will be saved from Grave punishment otherwise they will face torture.

Ridwan ( angel of paradise): Ridwan is the guardian of Jannat ( Heaven). Angel of paradise protects the gate to stop Shayatin from entering Heaven. There are seven heavens each of them is protected by angels (Surah Al-Isra 17:44). It also said Angel Ridwan will welcome each Muslim believer to paradise when they are allowed to enter heaven ( Surah Ar- Raʼd 13: 23,24).
Malik: He is in charge of Jahannam (Hell) and he punishes people according to Allahʼs command.

Unknown Facts about Angels in Islam:
Itʼs is believed that each day 70,000 Angels do tawaf around the Kaaba in heaven also known as Bait-ul-Ma’mur a just like humans do on earth. Every day and there is a new batch of angels who come to pray there and never return (Sahih Bukhari 3207; Sahih Muslim 164). Itʼs have been told by several scholars that Angels come to protect Muslims when several Muslims pray all together something like in Mosque. According to the Quran and Prophet Muhammed (SAW), 10 guardian angels always protect us from evils (Surah 13:11).

Muslims Believing in Angels is Having Imaan:
Allahʼs created humans to praise him and serve him as their only lord. Angels are created to serve Allah and believing in each creation of Allah is required for Muslims to have Imaan ( faith in Islam).

Rational:
Audience: My audiences are the Muslims who are unaware of angels that are mentioned in the Quran because those Muslims are not abel to read or are uninformed of Islamic knowledge. Purpose: This research aims to inform humans about Muslims’ belief in angels because angels are mentioned in the Quran like 88 times. As human beings, angels are part of our life, at least Muslims believe that. Moreover, it is relevant to social justice because every Muslim has the right to know what Quran talks about everything that can be seen and unseen. Additionally, it counts as a good deed in Islam if you know the Quran share it, with believers and others equally to enlighten them about Allah’s creation.
For an article
– I decided to write about the angels’ importance in Islam and thier Existence and the main
message of my essay with brief information about the topic to inform my audience what
Islam ( accodring to Quran ) states about Angels.
– I am using an article outline and an example of an article to structure my writing.
– I am not going to use any images.

– I decided to come up with a catchphrase that deliveries my main message which is
informed about angels’ importance in Islam to my audience.
